Job Description – Planning Engineer (UAE)
Position: Planning Engineer
Location: UAE
Salary: 7,000 -10,000
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Planning Engineer to oversee project scheduling, resource allocation, and progress tracking for construction and engineering projects in the UAE. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in project planning tools, time management, and coordination with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, monitor, and update project schedules using Primavera P6 / MS Project.
Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely execution of project milestones.
Prepare project progress reports and update stakeholders on potential delays.
Analyze critical paths and provide solutions to mitigate project risks.
Allocate and manage resources effectively to meet deadlines and budgets.
Collaborate with site engineers, project managers, and clients to ensure smooth workflow.
Ensure compliance with project specifications and contractual timelines.
Assist in cost estimation and project forecasting.
Conduct regular site visits to assess project progress and identify bottlenecks.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
3-7 years of experience as a Planning Engineer, preferably in construction or infrastructure projects in the UAE.
Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and ERP systems.
Strong knowledge of project scheduling techniques, critical path method (CPM), and risk assessment.
Excellent communication and reporting skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
