Job Title: Watchman / Warehouse Security Officer
Location: Umm Al Quwain, UAE
Reports to: Warehouse Supervisor / Operations Manager
Monitor and control access to the warehouse, ensuring only authorized personnel and vehicles are allowed entry.
Conduct regular patrols of the warehouse and surrounding areas to detect and prevent unauthorized activities.
Operate security systems such as CCTV cameras, alarms, and access control systems.
Report suspicious activities or security breaches to management immediately.
Prevent theft, vandalism, and damage to property through regular monitoring.
Log all incoming and outgoing goods, vehicles, and personnel according to company procedures.
Direct visitors and delivery vehicles to appropriate areas within the warehouse.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and respond promptly to emergencies (e.g., fire, break-ins, accidents).
Maintain daily security logs and incident reports accurately.
Report damages or maintenance issues to the Warehouse Supervisor.
Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure security of goods and materials stored on-site.
Coordinate with the Transport Department for smooth operations of incoming and outgoing shipments.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
1–2 years of experience in security or warehouse monitoring; experience in transport/logistics is a plus.
Proficient in speaking and writing English clearly and accurately.
Knowledge of security systems (CCTV, alarms, access control systems).
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Attention to detail and ability to remain alert for extended periods.
Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks.
Basic problem-solving skills for handling emergencies or security concerns.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED1,300.00 – AED1,500.00 per month
