Charge Nurse – Emergency Room (ER)
- Lead and supervise the ER nursing team during assigned shifts.
- Coordinate patient admissions, transfers, and discharges to ensure efficient patient flow.
- Assess, prioritize, and monitor critically ill or injured patients using triage principles.
- Provide direct nursing care and assist during emergency procedures when needed.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver timely treatment.
- Delegate tasks appropriately and provide clinical guidance to nursing staff.
- Monitor staffing levels and allocate resources based on patient acuity.
- Ensure compliance with infection control, patient safety, and quality assurance standards.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and nursing records.
- Mentor, support, and evaluate nursing staff while promoting continuous professional development.
- Respond effectively to medical emergencies, trauma cases, and disaster situations.
