The Chargehand assists the Foreman in supervising daily construction activities, leading a team of workers, and ensuring villa and high-rise construction works are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved drawings and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of skilled and unskilled workers on site.
- Execute daily work as instructed by the Foreman or Site Engineer.
- Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
- Monitor the quality of workmanship and maintain productivity.
- Coordinate the use of materials, tools, and equipment.
- Enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements.
- Report daily progress, site issues, and manpower status to the Foreman.
- Maintain good housekeeping and ensure compliance with company and UAE construction standards.
Requirements
- ITI, trade certificate, or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 3–5 years of UAE construction experience, including villa and high-rise projects.
- Good knowledge of construction practices, site safety, and quality standards.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team coordination skills.
- Ability to read and understand basic construction drawings is an advantage.
Pay: AED4,000.00 per month
