Overview

Pinnacle Solutions is seeking a CH-47 Flight Engineer/Mechanic to work in Tabuk, SA. The CH-47F FE monitors aircraft systems, diagnoses and resolves maintenance faults, and ensures maintenance records are accurately completed in accordance with service guidance. Duties may be performed day and night, under VMC and IMC. The CH-47F FE may perform maintenance, repairs, modifications, and inspections per Technical Manuals, Operator Manual, Maintenance Test Flight Checklist, and other directives relevant to the environment.

The CH-47F FE may also provide technical direction and training to Royal Saudi Land Forces Aviation Command when needed.

Responsibilities

  • Performs flight crew work supporting heavy multi-engine aircraft and assists the pilot in the overall operation of the aircraft.
  • Conducts APU operations, performs crew duties during Maintenance Test Flights (MTFs), and maintenance operational checks (MOCs).
  • Performs CH-47F maintenance tasks using Technical Manuals, Operator Manuals, Maintenance Test Flight Manual, Check List Manual, and other directives.
  • Removes, inspects, troubleshoots, and installs aircraft system components such as engines, rotors, gearboxes, transmissions, flight controls, and hydraulics.
  • Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities including PMS, servicing, lubrication, and MOC/MTF support.
  • Uses and maintains tools, test equipment, and Aircraft Ground Support Equipment (AGSE) and Peculiar Ground Support Equipment (PGSE).
  • Prepares, reviews, and updates aircraft maintenance forms and records.
  • Uses measuring tools, gauges, and alignment fixtures.
  • Provides On-the-Job Training (OJT), coaching, and mentoring to Royal Saudi Land Forces Aviation Command personnel in aircraft maintenance.
  • Ensures maintenance operations are conducted safely.
  • Other tasks as directed by the PC Manager and Maintenance Lead.

Qualifications

  • Eight (8) years’ experience as an aircraft mechanic on CH-47F series aircraft.
  • Qualified by the appropriate U.S. Government armed forces CH-47 aircraft mechanic maintenance course or civilian equivalent training.
  • Proficient with computer-hosted interactive technical manuals, aircraft maintenance forms or similar aviation maintenance systems, and related documentation.
  • Professional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with customers.
  • Valid state or Government-issued driver’s license.
  • Ability to pass an overseas deployment physical upon hire.
