Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain and control the TC certification program baseline (IMS), including milestones, dependencies, and critical path.
  • Create and maintain the deliverable map/indexes linking certification objectives to planned evidence deliverables and submission packages.
  • Own the submission plan and calendar for TC deliverables, ensuring internal readiness gates are scheduled and met.
  • Integrate engineering, ground test and flight test plans into the certification program and ensure consistency of assumptions, configurations and interfaces across teams.
  • Coordinate development of LOI inputs and ensure that authority engagement events, reviews and planned investigations are reflected in program baselines.
  • Drive and chair (or support) readiness reviews, ensuring action closure and clear go/no-go decisions for planned submissions and test events.
  • Coordinate planned test notifications through the Authority Liaison and ensure that test timing and readiness are reflected in program reporting.
  • Ensure alignment of the program structure with the compliance checklist structure and compliance closure strategy (in coordination with airworthiness compliance).
  • Provide regular progress, decision and readiness dashboards; identify trends, blockers, and forecast risks to submissions and key milestones.
  • Escalate schedule/compliance difficulties and recommend recovery actions or replans to the Chief of Airworthiness / overall program leadership as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree in aerospace/mechanical/electrical engineering or equivalent technical discipline; equivalent aviation certification program experience may be considered.
  • Demonstrated experience in certification program management for UAS, aircraft or complex aviation products (VTOL), including multi-discipline coordination and structured planning.
  • Working knowledge of GCAA CAR 21 / EASA Part 21 certification deliverables and evidence flow, including how test/analysis outputs support compliance closure.
  • Proven capability to build and maintain integrated master plans (IMS) and manage dependencies across engineering, test, configuration and compliance functions.
