Ceramic Designer Jobs in Dubai, UAE at Genius Consultants
We are looking for a Ceramic Design Engineer to join Engineering Team. The Design Engineer is responsible for planning and directing selected product engineering activities.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
Mechanical engineering, solid modeling, and ceramic product design.
Coordinate the creation, development, design, and improvement of products in conformance with established programs and objectives.
Provide detailed support to Sales and Manufacturing departments as needed.
Create models in SOLIDWORKS, conduct finite element analysis and other simulations.
Develop gearing-specific customer application expertise.
Responsible for design/development and technical support of new Standard Product, modification of existing Standard Product and new Custom Designs.
Create engineering drawings, BOMs, test plans, and technical reports.
Manage projects to reduce cost and ensure quality of new and existing designs.
Manage own time and work activity while handling multiple projects and tasks.
Work effectively in a cross-functional, team-oriented environment.
Interface with customers technical staff, core Engineering groups and company Sales Representatives.
Experience and Education Required
Diploma in Mechanical/Ceramic Engineering, or technically related field
1 or more years of experience designing and development.
Familiarity with various machining operations (milling, turning, grinding, gear cutting)
Ability to demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills
Technical Skills
Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook.
Proficient with Solid Works or other 3D design software is required.
FEA, DFMEA, structured problem solving.
