Position: Centralized Salary Processing Manager
Role Objective
The Centralized Processing Manager will oversee, approve and ensure timely processing of salaries of all customers/employees, in accordance with bank /regulatory and CP guidelines. The incumbent will review/approve periodic/ adhoc reports related to various transactions, with focus on delivering quality service and effective operational support for all customers and stakeholders involved. The job holder will also manage and guide a team of Processing Officers and Senior Processing Officers in efficient execution of their daily tasks.
Detailed Roles and Responsibilities:
Constantly update self on business, economic, and competitive scenario, and recommend adequate suggestions/insights to the Section Head Centralized Processing, as appropriate.
Update self on the regulatory requirements/changes set by QCB and other relevant government bodies, and, make adequate changes in the section, including but not limited to staffing of employees, department deliverables etc.
Develop and maintain robust working relationships with internal/external stakeholders of Doha Bank to facilitate functional / operational needs.
Verify and approve the system generated daily statistical reports and reconciliation reports against the salary processing transactions.
Oversee and approve processing of all inward salary transaction s received through the QATCH system, as per the approved procedural guidelines.
Oversee and approve processing of all salary transactions received through the WEB portal, as per debit instructions, as per the approved procedural guidelines.
Ensure completion of all periodic reports/ database related to salary transactions in compliance with local regulations & audit/ procedural requirements.
Perform all operational activities as assigned by the Section Head Centralized Processing in compliance with local regulations, Doha Bank’s policies and approved Centralized Processing policies and procedures.
Monitor overall activities within the unit & report deviations to the Section Head Centralized Processing on a timely basis.
Contribute to the amendments of policies and procedures within the unit, as and when needed.
Qualifications & Experience:
University graduate with a degree in Business or Banking or Finance or any other related discipline.
Master’s degree in Management any other related discipline will be an added advantage.
08-12 years of total experience in financial services/banking industry, entailing responsibilities pertaining to the specific area of discipline.
Experience in centralized salary processing /cheque clearing operations in banking industry in a supervisory role.
