Key Responsibilities
- Installation & Integration: Lead the physical installation of CCTV cameras (IP and Analog), NVRs, DVRs, and related storage servers.
- Structured Cabling: Perform professional cabling tasks, including PVC/EMT conduit installation, trunking, tray work, and pulling Cat6 or Fiber Optic cables.
- Termination & Testing: Expertly handle RJ45 crimping, I/O termination, and patch panel dressing. Conduct continuity and signal testing to ensure system integrity.
- System Configuration: Configure IP addresses, subnet masks, and gateways for network cameras. Set up remote viewing on mobile devices and desktops.
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Diagnose hardware and software faults in existing systems. Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure 24/7 uptime.
- Site Surveys: Assist in site evaluations to determine optimal camera placement and cable routing paths.
- Compliance: Ensure all installations meet UAE local authorities’ standards (such as SIRA in Dubai or MCC in Abu Dhabi).
