CCTV Operator
Job Summary
We are looking for a vigilant and responsible CCTV Operator to monitor surveillance systems and help maintain a safe and secure environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring CCTV cameras, identifying suspicious activities, reporting incidents, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the security team when required.
Responsibilities
- Monitor CCTV cameras and surveillance systems continuously.
- Identify and report suspicious, unauthorized, or unusual activities.
- Monitor entrances, exits, restricted areas, parking areas, and other designated locations.
- Respond promptly to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies.
- Record and maintain accurate daily CCTV and incident logs.
- Review CCTV footage when required for investigations.
- Provide relevant CCTV footage to authorized personnel when requested.
- Immediately report security incidents to the Security Supervisor or Security Manager.
- Monitor the proper functioning of CCTV cameras, recording systems, and monitoring equipment.
- Report technical faults or equipment issues promptly.
- Coordinate with security guards and other departments during incidents.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of CCTV footage and security-related information.
- Follow company security policies, procedures, and emergency protocols.
- Perform other security-related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a CCTV Operator or in a security-related position is preferred.
- Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems and basic computer operations.
- Good observation and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to remain alert and focused for extended periods.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond appropriately during emergencies.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- Willingness to work rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
