The Role
As an Early Years Teacher at Zaya Al Fanar, you will:
Implement a play-based, child-centered approach to learning in line with the EYFS framework.
Facilitate hands-on, inquiry-based learning that supports children’s natural curiosity and development.
Work closely with Arabic Anchor Teachers, who are present for one-third of the day, ensuring immersive Arabic language learning through play.
Use movement, storytelling, music, and nature-based experiences as core teaching strategies.
Support children’s social-emotional development, fostering independence, resilience, and a love for learning.
Collaborate with Forest School specialists to integrate outdoor learning and environmental exploration.
Utilize formative assessment strategies to understand and support each child’s developmental journey.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
✅ A UK-recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed, or equivalent).
✅ At least 2 years of experience teaching in an EYFS or play-based setting.
✅ A deep understanding of child development and play-based learning.
✅ The ability to create a nurturing and engaging classroom environment.
✅ A passion for outdoor learning, movement, and creative expression.
✅ A commitment to holistic, inquiry-based teaching.
