Install and Finish: Perform installation and finishing of cabinetry, trim, moldings, doors, and other woodworking elements.
Read Blueprints: Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout and finish requirements.
Measure and Cut: Accurately measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials to achieve precise results.
Apply Finishes: Apply paints, stains, and varnishes to surfaces and ensure a high-quality finish.
Repair Work: Address and repair any imperfections or issues in finished work to meet quality standards.
Maintain Tools: Keep tools and equipment in good working condition and ensure a safe work environment.
Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including project managers and general contractors, to ensure project deadlines and quality standards are met.
Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
Experience: Proven experience as a Finishing Carpenter or similar role with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
Skills: Proficient in the use of hand and power tools; expertise in wood finishing techniques.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of carpentry techniques, safety procedures, and building codes.
Attention to Detail: Exceptional eye for detail and a commitment to high-quality craftsmanship.
Physical Stamina: Ability to handle physically demanding tasks and work in various environments.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; relevant trade certifications are a plus.
Communication: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED2,000.00 – AED2,500.00 per month
