We are currently seeking a detail‑oriented and customer service driven individual to join our team as a Cashier. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling all transactions accurately and efficiently while providing exceptional customer service to our diverse clientele. This position is open to candidates of all nationalities.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Process transactions, including cash, credit, and debit payments
- Ensure accurate pricing and scanning of merchandise
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier area
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and resolving any issues or concerns
- Promote store loyalty programs and encourage customers to sign up
- Balance cash register at the end of each shift and report any discrepancies
Requirements
- Prior cashier or retail experience preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
