As a Cashier, you would be responsible for totaling and processing guest purchases in the hotel’s effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Your responsibilities include:
Greeting and acknowledging guests upon check-out
Accurately totaling, processing, and collecting payments using the point-of-sale system, handling money, processing credit and debit cards, making change, and processing gift certificates and cards
Ensuring guest satisfaction and resolving any issues or concerns, involving a supervisor if necessary
Responding to guest inquiries and requests promptly, courteously, and efficiently
What are we looking for?
A Cashier at Hilton works on behalf of our Guests and collaborates with Team Members. To succeed, you should demonstrate:
Clear communication skills
Ability to understand and work with financial data from various sources
Composure and objectivity in high-pressure situations
Quick and accurate decision-making skills
Problem-solving abilities for workplace challenges, including anticipating, preventing, and resolving issues
It would be advantageous to have:
A High School Diploma (additional training and education are highly desirable)
