Job Summary
The Cashier is responsible for processing patient payments, issuing receipts, and supporting financial transactions within the healthcare facility. The role ensures accurate cash handling, maintains financial records, and provides professional customer service while complying with organizational policies and financial procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and process payments for consultations, procedures, medications, and other healthcare services
- Issue receipts and maintain accurate records of all cash, card, and electronic payment transactions
- Coordinate with billing, admissions, and insurance teams to verify charges and resolve payment-related inquiries
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in cashiering, finance, customer service, or a related role
- Healthcare or hospital experience is preferred
