Position: Cash Management – Cashier (Shared Services)
Job Purpose
The Main Cashier will be responsible for the processing, recording, updating, and reconciling of fiscal information in compliance with established policies, perform the day-to-day processing of financial transactions to ensure that finances are maintained in an effective, up-to-date, and accurate manner.

The Main Cashier will be responsible for the processing, recording, updating and reconciling of fiscal information in compliance with established policies, perform the day-to-day processing of financial transactions to ensure that finances are maintained in an effective, up-to-date, and accurate manner.
Key Responsibilities And Duties
- Receive or collect payment by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits from various locations as assigned.
- Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers.
- Count money in main cash drawers at the beginning of the shift to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change.
- Greet customers entering establishments.
- Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas.
- Follow up on employee shifts with teams that are not closed on a daily basis.
- Deposit the cash in the bank periodically.
- Keep all cash, cheques, receipts, and POS slips in safe custody and hand over to the respective manager/accountant for proper recording.
- Resolve customer financial complaints.
- Properly maintain all records and keep the cash records up to date.
- Other duties as assigned within the scope of the job.
Requirements
Skills And Abilities
- Ability to work under stress conditions and to successfully handle stressful situations.
Experience
- 0 – 2 years of experience in cash disbursement, cash collection, and control.
Education
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
Language
- Excellent command of oral and written English and Arabic.
