About the role
Support daily cash operations, forecasting and bank relationships to optimise liquidity and working capital across the business.
Main Duties once Hired
- Monitor daily cash positions and manage interbank transfers, sweeps and short‑term placements.
- Prepare rolling cash forecasts (daily/weekly/monthly) and identify funding gaps or surplus opportunities.
- Reconcile bank accounts and investigate reconciling items; maintain accurate cash records.
- Prepare and validate bank payment files, support payment runs and ensure timely settlement.
- Maintain bank signatory matrices, support account openings/closures and manage banking documentation.
- Analyse cash flow drivers and produce liquidity reports and variance explanations for finance leadership.
- Coordinate with treasury, AP/AR and banks to resolve payment exceptions and optimise float.
- Support FX cash flows, hedging settlements and related accounting considerations where applicable.
- Implement and maintain controls, SOX‑style procedures and payment approval workflows.
- Assist with treasury system maintenance, bank fee analysis and process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
- 1–3 years’ experience in cash management, treasury operations, banking or corporate finance; GCC/Doha experience preferred.
- Strong Excel skills; familiarity with banking portals and ERP cash modules (SAP, Oracle, Kyriba) advantageous.
- Attention to detail, strong analytical skills and ability to work under tight timelines.
- Basic understanding of FX, short‑term investments and bank reconciliations.
- Good communication skills in English; Arabic advantageous.
- Valid work authorisation for Qatar.
