Carpenter – Doha, Qatar
We are looking for a Carpenter to join our team in Doha. The successful applicant will be responsible for fabricating, installing and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials.
This role requires a good level of manual dexterity, physical strength and stamina, as well as an eye for detail. The ideal candidate should have a working knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools and materials. Previous experience in the field is desirable, but not essential.
Responsibilities
- Interpret blueprints and diagrams
- Cut, shape and join wood
- Install custom fixtures
- Construct building frameworks
- Finish interior and exterior surfaces
- Repair furniture
- Install kitchen cabinets or other custom-made furniture
- Maintain tools and machines used in the carpentry trade
- Apply basic mathematics to calculate angles and weights
- Apply health and safety regulations
- Work independently or as part of a team
Compensation
We offer a competitive salary of 1300 per month for this position with the potential to increase based on skills and experience. We are also open to considering foreign immigrants for this role.
