Carpenter – Fit-Out / Joinery Jobs in Doha at FTC ARABIA
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Carpenter with experience in interior fit-out and joinery works. The candidate will be responsible for manufacturing, assembling, and installing wooden structures, furniture, and fit-out elements according to project specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings, shop drawings, and cutting lists.
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials accurately.
- Install joinery items such as doors, cabinets, wardrobes, panels, and furniture.
- Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Carry out on-site installation and adjustments as required.
- Ensure high-quality finishing and attention to detail in all carpentry works.
- Repair and maintain existing wooden structures and fixtures.
- Coordinate with supervisors and site teams to meet project deadlines.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean working environment.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in carpentry, preferably in interior fit-out or joinery.
- Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, materials, and tools.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
- Good physical condition and ability to handle manual work.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in custom furniture and high-end fit-out projects.
- Knowledge of laminates, veneers, and finishing techniques.
- GCC experience is an advantage.
