Job Overview:
We are looking for skilled and experienced Carpenters to join our events and exhibitions team. The role involves fabricating, assembling, installing, and modifying custom wooden structures for exhibitions, trade shows, corporate events, and temporary installations. Candidates must be able to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate custom wooden structures including exhibition booths, stages, furniture, displays, and signage
- Work with wood, MDF, plywood, and similar materials
- Assemble, install, and dismantle structures at event venues
- Follow approved drawings, layouts, and site instructions
- Modify and repair existing structures as required during events
- Ensure quality workmanship, safety standards, and site cleanliness
- Coordinate with designers, supervisors, and technical teams
- Manage carpentry tools, materials, and equipment responsibly
- Meet strict deadlines and resolve on-site issues efficiently
Candidate Requirements:
- Education: High school certificate + ITI / Carpentry training certificate
- Experience: Previous carpenter experience (UAE experience mandatory)
- Gender: Male
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy materials and work long hours
- Availability: Willing to work overtime, weekends, and travel to sites
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong carpentry and fabrication skills
- Ability to read technical drawings and layouts
- Experience with hand tools and power tools
- High attention to detail and finishing quality
- Team player with good communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and tight timelines
