Job Description
- Demonstrate compassion and effective active listening skills.
- Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Discuss the benefits of breastfeeding with the mother and family.
- Assist mothers during newborn care, feeding techniques, and self‑care.
- Assess the condition of the mother and baby immediately after birth.
- Provide care for the mother and baby during the initial postpartum period.
- Monitor the mother and baby for any complications during the postpartum period.
- Provide education and support to the mother and her family during the postpartum period.
Qualifications
- Completion of at least a Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery.
- Graduate of a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or a Registered Nurse qualification in the home country.
Additional Information
- Clinical experience in Obstetrics, Pediatrics, and Newborn Care.
