Caregiver / Nanny (Newborn Care) – Emirati Family
About the Role
A respected Emirati family in Abu Dhabi is seeking a caring, experienced, and trustworthy Caregiver/Nanny to provide dedicated care for a newborn baby. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in newborn and infant care, a nurturing personality, and a strong commitment to maintaining the child's safety, comfort, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive and compassionate care for a newborn baby
- Assist with feeding, burping, diaper changing, bathing, and dressing the baby.
- Establish and maintain the baby's sleeping and feeding routines.
- Monitor the baby's health, development, and daily activities.
- Sterilize baby bottles, feeding equipment, and baby-related items.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the nursery and baby belongings.
- Prepare and organize the baby's clothing, bedding, and essentials.
- Accompany the family and baby to medical appointments when required.
- Support the parents in implementing childcare routines and schedules.
- Ensure a safe, hygienic, and nurturing environment at all times.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Newborn Caregiver, Nanny, Maternity Nurse, or Infant Care Specialist.
- Previous experience caring for newborns and infants is essential.
- Basic knowledge of newborn health, hygiene, feeding, and developmental milestones.
- Infant First Aid and CPR certification is highly preferred.
- Patient, caring, trustworthy, and attentive to detail.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism.
- Physically fit and able to work flexible hours, including nights if required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Nursing, Midwifery, Caregiver, or Early Childhood Education certification.
- Experience working with Emirati, GCC, or VIP fam
- Experience as a live-in nanny or newborn care.
