Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Caregiver role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Caregiver will provide direct, hands-on support to clients in their homes, including assistance with personal care such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility. Daily responsibilities may include monitoring client well-being, preparing simple meals, supporting medication reminders as directed, and maintaining a clean, safe environment. The Caregiver will follow individualized care plans, document observations, and promptly report changes in clients’ conditions to supervisors or healthcare professionals. The role also involves offering emotional support, companionship, and respectful communication with clients and their families, while adhering to CareZone’s policies and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience as a caregiver, home health aide, or similar role providing personal care and daily living support.
- Knowledge of basic caregiving practices, including hygiene assistance, safe lifting and transfer techniques, and mobility support.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, listen actively, and build trust with clients and families.
- Ability to follow care plans, observe and record client conditions, and escalate concerns to nursing or medical staff when needed.
- Reliability and time management skills to manage multiple client needs and maintain consistent, punctual care.
- Understanding of basic health and safety procedures, infection control, and emergency response steps in a home setting.
- Empathy, patience, and cultural sensitivity when working with clients of different ages, backgrounds, and health conditions.
- Basic English communication skills; additional languages commonly used in Dubai are an advantage.
- Relevant caregiving or healthcare training or certification is preferred; prior experience in home healthcare is an asset.
- Ability to work on-site in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and comply with local employment and licensing requirements.
