The Role
As the Career & University Guidance Counsellor, you will play a key role in preparing students for life beyond school by providing personalised guidance on university admissions, career planning, scholarship opportunities, and future pathways.
You will work closely with students, parents, teachers, and university representatives to ensure every student is equipped to make informed decisions about their future.
Key Responsibilities
Provide individual and group career and university guidance to secondary students.
Support students throughout the university application process, including personal statements, applications, references, and interview preparation.
Deliver career education workshops and university information sessions.
Develop and maintain relationships with universities and higher education institutions worldwide.
Organise university fairs, careers events, and parent information evenings.
Advise students on scholarships, admissions requirements, and career pathways.
Maintain accurate records of student applications and destinations.
Work collaboratively with school leadership, teachers, and families to support student aspirations.
