About the Job:
We are seeking a highly experienced Cards Program Lead to spearhead the launch and management of large-scale corporate and consumer card programs. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in card products, payment technologies, and program management within the banking and financial services domain. This role demands exceptional leadership, strategic planning, and stakeholder management skills to ensure the successful delivery of card programs aligned with business objectives.
Responsibilities:
1. Market Research & Strategy:
- Conduct benchmarking of corporate and consumer card programs.
- Identify customer needs, including travel spend management, expense reconciliation, and card benefits.
- Develop business strategies with revenue projections and cost-benefit analysis.
- Align product strategy with organizational capabilities and network offerings.
2. Program Planning & Execution:
- Oversee program delivery in line with project plans and timelines.
- Coordinate across internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Design end-to-end processes, including onboarding, servicing, and dispute resolution.
- Establish governance frameworks and escalation procedures.
3. Risk Management & Quality Assurance:
- Identify risks early in the program lifecycle and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with business and technical requirements.
- Oversee testing phases and validate readiness for launch.
4. Stakeholder Communication & Budget Management:
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders and leadership teams.
- Monitor project budgets and resource allocation, ensuring delivery within approved financial parameters.
5. Post-Launch Management:
- Oversee program deployment and ensure successful go-live.
- Monitor performance metrics such as adoption, transaction volumes, and credit performance.
- Identify opportunities for enhancements and product expansion.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Strong experience in program/project management within the banking, financial services, or payments domain.
- Hands-on expertise in card program launches (mandatory).
- Deep understanding of corporate and consumer card products and payment technologies.
- Experience working with payment networks/schemes.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
- PMP / PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
- Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
