Job Description

Obtain patient history; explain procedures; address patients’ concerns; follow pre‑screening policy and procedure.
Determine appropriate methodology and techniques; arrange immobilization/support devices; select imaging device.
Prepare patient for echocardiography procedures; position as required; assist at completion.
Use good judgment to determine if the procedure was sufficient for proper diagnosis.
Provide images, data analysis, and patient information to the physician for diagnostic interpretation.
Prepare facilities according to procedural requirements; calibrate equipment as required.
Monitor patient’s physical condition during procedure; report changes or emergencies to clinical staff, supervisor, or cardiologist.
Recognize abnormal rhythms and immediately notify physician or appropriate clinical staff.
Maintain accurate patient documentation, including computerized records.
Perform general office duties: maintain stock supplies; assist administrators in purchasing; record procedure codes for billing; schedule patients.
Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promote continuous workplace safety and environmental practices.
Troubleshoot equipment; document errors or malfunctions; elevate issues to engineer, supervisor, or cardiologist.

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited school of Cardiac Technology.
6 months internship in Cathlab Technology.
Current license in country of origin with DOH license to practice in U.A.E.
Two years of recent related experience as a Cardiology Tech, Interventional/Special Procedure Technologist, or equivalent.
Excellent command of oral and written English;
Arabic language advantageous but not essential.
Ability to adjust to group practice in an industrial environment.
