Job Description: Car Service Specialist & Detailer
Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled and dependable Car Service Specialist & Detailer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in vehicle servicing, maintenance, inspection, and professional detailing. This role requires strong attention to detail, technical knowledge, and a commitment to maintaining vehicles to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
Vehicle Service & Maintenance
- Perform routine vehicle servicing and preventive maintenance.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and identify mechanical or maintenance issues.
- Perform oil and filter changes, fluid checks, battery checks, tire inspections, and basic repairs.
- Check brakes, suspension, cooling systems, belts, lights, and other vehicle components.
- Use basic diagnostic tools to identify vehicle faults.
- Ensure all service work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to manufacturer recommendations.
- Maintain accurate records of services and repairs performed.
- Report any major mechanical issues or additional work required.
Vehicle Detailing
- Perform thorough interior and exterior vehicle cleaning.
- Wash, dry, polish, and wax vehicles to a professional standard.
- Vacuum and deep-clean carpets, seats, dashboards, and interior surfaces.
- Clean and maintain wheels, tires, windows, and exterior trim.
- Perform paint polishing, buffing, and minor paint correction when required.
- Remove stains, dust, odors, and other interior contaminants.
- Apply protective products such as waxes, sealants, and coatings as required.
- Ensure every vehicle is presented in excellent condition before handover.
Requirements
- Previous experience in automotive servicing, maintenance, or detailing.
- Good knowledge of vehicle mechanical systems and routine maintenance.
- Practical experience using automotive tools and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to identify and report vehicle issues accurately.
- Good time management and ability to meet service deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.
- Automotive qualification or technical certification is an advantage.
