Job Description
We are currently looking for dynamic, self‑motivated Food & Beverage professionals who want to advance their careers. As a Captain you are responsible for providing professional and customer‑focused service to our guests, ensuring their stay becomes a memorable experience. Your role will include the following key responsibilities:
- Perform all necessary tasks to service food & beverage according to the hotel’s standard performance manual.
- Acquire in‑depth knowledge of the outlet’s menu to assist and advise guests.
- Practice good customer relations and attend to complaints and queries satisfactorily.
- Ensure the outlet is set‑up for service and supervise for smooth operation.
- Direct and supervise the service team to ensure all duties are performed to standards.
- Ensure colleagues receive adequate training to perform their duties.
- Organise, plan, and control supplies, maintaining a concise record of beverage stock to ensure availability.
- Minimise wastage, breakage and spoilage.
- Actively employ upselling techniques to exceed guest expectations and increase revenue.
Education, Qualifications & Experiences
You should ideally have a diploma or degree in hospitality with up to two years of experience in a similar role. You must possess good written and spoken English and should be familiar with Micros. Previous experience in minor leadership and supervisory roles is a definite plus.
