Cake Shop Driver
Location: Jumeirah Lake Towers (JLT), Dubai
Employment Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver cakes, desserts, and other orders to customers across Dubai and surrounding emirates.
- Load, transport, and unload cakes carefully to prevent damage during transit.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately, professionally, and within scheduled time slots.
- Collect cash or obtain customer signatures when required.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and keep the delivery vehicle clean and well-maintained.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues or accidents immediately.
- Assist with collecting supplies, ingredients, or packaging materials from suppliers when needed.
- Help with basic warehouse or operations tasks during quieter delivery periods.
- Follow all UAE traffic laws and company safety procedures.
- Represent Cake Social professionally and provide excellent customer service at every delivery.
Requirements
- Valid UAE Manual Driving License.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver in the UAE is preferred.
- Good knowledge of Dubai roads and navigation apps (Google Maps/Waze).
- Able to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 20 kg.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Reliable, punctual, and well-organized.
- Calm under pressure and able to handle fragile products with care.
- Clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience delivering cakes, food, flowers, or other delicate products.
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
- Customer service experience.
Working Hours
- Full-time, 6 days per week.
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays when required, especially during busy seasons.
Pay: From AED3,500.00 per month
