Responsibilities
- Oversee daily cafe operations ensuring seamless service and a positive customer experience from order taking to table management.
- Manage and train cafe staff, fostering a collaborative environment and providing ongoing coaching to elevate performance and uphold service standards.
- Maintain inventory control, accurately tracking stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, upholding cleanliness standards and proper food handling procedures to protect customer well‑being.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification is essential.
- Possession of a Food Handler’s Certificate or equivalent certification is required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a cafe or similar customer service role is preferred.
- Prior experience in the hospitality or food service industry is highly advantageous.
