CADD Operator – Traffic Signs & Markings Jobs in Doha at Candidzone
About the Role
We’re hiring a CADD Operator to join a major transportation project team in Doha, developing Signs & Markings and Directional Sign drawings using AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D. You’ll create detailed 2D designs and 3D models for traffic-related disciplines, working closely with design engineers to bring projects from rough sketches to finished, standards-compliant drawings.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and finalize Signs & Markings and Directional Sign drawings under the direction of a senior Designer
- Convert engineering notes, specifications, and rough sketches into working drawings
- Prepare general arrangements, layout plans, structural details, and schedules on a CAD workstation
- Perform dimensional and routine calculations; check layout and drawing accuracy
- Build and update accurate 3D models for traffic-related disciplines in Civil 3D
- Run clash analyses and generate clash reports
- Ensure compliance with CAD standards and the ISO 19650 workflow and approval process
What You’ll Need
- Associate degree, technical diploma, or equivalent qualification in Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience on Traffic and Highways projects (7+ years preferred)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Navisworks
- Experience with ProjectWise and/or ACC Navigator, and drawing/document management procedures
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills with project teams and stakeholders
Pay: QAR9,000.00 – QAR11,000.00 per month
