Cable Jointer Jobs in Dubai at Donzar
We are hiring an experienced Cable Jointer (LV / MV / HV) for UAE-based electrical and infrastructure projects. The candidate will be responsible for installation, jointing, termination, and testing of underground power cables up to 33kV, in compliance with utility and EPC standards. Work will include XLPE, PVC, armoured and unarmoured cable systems in oil & gas, utilities, and construction projects.
- Perform HV/MV/LV cable jointing and termination (0.4kV – 33kV) Install straight-through joints, outdoor/indoor terminations, transition joints Carry out cable glanding, lugging, ferruling, dressing and sealing works Work with XLPE, PILC, armoured & unarmoured power cables Perform insulation resistance, continuity and sheath testing Support fault location, repair and maintenance of cable networks Read and follow SLD, cable schedules, layout drawings and termination drawings Ensure compliance with HSE, PTW, LOTO and site safety procedures Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and QA/QC teams Maintain tools, jointing kits, and ensure high-quality workmanship
- Strong hands-on experience in 11kV / 33kV cable jointing Knowledge of heat shrink / cold shrink / resin jointing techniques
- Ability to work in trenches, substations, underground cable networks Good understanding of electrical safety and isolation procedures Ability to work independently and under pressure
Pay: AED5,500.00 – AED9,000.00 per month
