Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Cable Diagnostic Testing / Analysis Engineer with strong electrical engineering knowledge and relevant Oil & Gas experience. The candidate will be responsible for cable diagnostic testing, analysis, reporting, and ensuring electrical systems meet safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic testing and condition assessment of electrical cables.
- Analyze test results and identify faults, defects, and insulation issues.
- Prepare technical test reports and recommendations.
- Ensure testing activities comply with safety, quality, and project requirements.
- Coordinate with electrical, maintenance, and project teams.
- Support electrical troubleshooting and preventive maintenance activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience.
- Minimum 5 years of Oil & Gas experience.
- Strong experience in cable testing, diagnostics, and analysis.
- Good knowledge of electrical testing standards, procedures, and safety practices.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and troubleshooting skills.
- Qatar / GCC experience is preferred.
- Candidates currently available in Qatar are preferred.
- Valid QID / Qatar ID is required for Qatar-based candidates.
- NOC or transferable visa status is preferred.
- Candidates who can join immediately or within a short notice period are preferred.
