JD – International Student Admissions Officer
Requirements:
To act as an International Student Counselor for our Foreign Education Consultancy Business firm.
Working knowledge of Admissions & Visa regulations and policies of Australia, Canada, USA, UK & Europe.
Counselling students for admissions into different levels of programs available in Universities and partnering institutions.
Correspondence with the students through email/calls/messages regularly.
To work as an example, demonstrate maturity, excellent motivation, leadership, disciplinary and communication skills, and use creativity, understanding, and tactfulness to ensure that the clients (students) and external customers (admission partner network) are delighted with the service provided by the team.
The objective is to recruit qualified students in the required numbers for the institute through direct contact with students and through a network of existing and new admission partners across the region.
Obtain a solid understanding of the business model, the current and evolving global education industry, and emerging customer and admission partner service needs.
To bring new ideas to the table for student recruitment and to work to make those a reality after the senior management approves those ideas.
Represent the company ethically and develop and maintain relationships required internally and externally to perform this role successfully.
To handle the job ethically, practically, creatively, and with discipline.
Keeping updated with the universities’ offerings by studying and researching.

Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field. A Master’s degree is an asset.
· Previous experience in educational counseling, particularly for students seeking to study abroad, is preferred.
· Knowledge of foreign universities and their admission processes, especially in popular study destinations.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect and empathize with students and families.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple applications and deadlines.
· Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with relevant counseling software and tools.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
