Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence and Technology Consultant to transform data into actionable insights and to advise on technology strategy. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing BI solutions, integrating various data sources, and working closely with stakeholders to enhance organizational performance through data-driven decision-making. Your expertise in both business intelligence and technology will help bridge the gap between technical teams and business units.
Key Responsibilities:
Gather, analyze, and transform complex datasets into clear, meaningful reports and dashboards using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
Identify trends, patterns, and insights that support strategic business decisions.
Collaborate with business units and IT teams to design, develop, and implement BI solutions that align with organizational objectives.
Ensure data integrity and optimize data pipelines for efficient reporting.
Advise on the selection and integration of technology solutions that enhance data management and analytics capabilities.
Evaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations on best practices.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work closely with senior management to understand their data needs and deliver tailored insights.
Conduct training sessions and provide ongoing support to ensure successful adoption of BI solutions.
Manage BI projects from conception through implementation, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Monitor performance metrics and continuously improve processes to enhance solution efficiency.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or technology consulting.
Proven experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
Strong proficiency in SQL and data modeling.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Success in this role means not only delivering high-quality analytical solutions but also building strong relationships with stakeholders and continuously driving improvements in how data is used across the organization.
