Role Purpose

To support business growth and enhance market presence by assisting in market research, identifying strategic opportunities, and contributing to tailored business development initiatives. This role focuses on building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met through effective communication and customized solutions.

Principal Accountabilities and Key Activities

Assist in conducting market research to identify trends and potential growth opportunities in relevant sectors.

Support the development and implementation of business development initiatives aimed at increasing revenue and market presence.

Stay informed on industry changes to help align strategies effectively.

Identify potential business opportunities and assist in qualifying high-value projects and partnerships.

Engage with clients to understand their needs and suggest customized solutions.

Monitor industry advancements to recognize new opportunities.

Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders to provide client support.

Regularly communicate with clients to understand their requirements and challenges.

Assist in the development of proposals and bids that address client needs.

Support contract negotiation processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery and alignment with client expectations.

Prepare and present reports to communicate insights and developments to management.

Contribute to maintaining client satisfaction.

Support the collection process to ensure timely payments.

Support efforts to achieve sales goals through effective strategies and by monitoring relevant metrics.

Education, Qualifications, and Experience

Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or a related field.

Experience: 3-5 years of experience in business development within aerospace and/or defense sectors.

Qualifications:

Proven track record of securing contracts and building long-term relationships with government and clients.

Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance standards within the aerospace and defense sectors.
