Job Description:
The Business Development Specialist at Culture House will play a pivotal role in enhancing our organization’s market presence and driving growth initiatives. This junior-level position is designed for individuals with a strong aptitude for relationship-building and strategic thinking, alongside a foundational understanding of business development processes within cultural or creative sectors. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to identify potential business opportunities, foster partnerships, and support the implementation of strategic sales initiatives.

Job Requirements:
A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably in the cultural or nonprofit sectors.
Proven track recordof identifying and pursuing new business opportunities leading to increased revenue.
Familiarity with market research techniques and competitor analysis methodologies.
Strong knowledge of CRM systems and other business development software tools.
Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships withdiversestakeholders, including clients, partners, and community members.
Ability to collaborate effectively withincross-functional teamsand contribute to a collective mission.
Capacity forcritical thinkingandproblem-solvinginfast-pacedenvironments.
Strong organizational skills withattention to detailand the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Experience in facilitating presentations and workshops todiverseaudiences.
Willingness to engage with cultural communities and attend local events to establish connections and promote initiatives.
Knowledge of fundraising strategies and grant writing processes is desirable.
Fluency in multiple languages is a plus.
Availability for occasional travel andflexible scheduling.
Job Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive market research to identify and evaluate potential business opportunities within the cultural sector.
Assist in the development and implementation of targeted business development strategies that align with Culture House’s mission and goals.
Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and other stakeholders to establish Culture House as a trusted resource in the community.
Participate in networking events, community outreach activities, and industry conferences to promote organizational initiatives and build visibility.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling marketing materials, presentations, and proposals that effectively communicate the value of Culture House’s offerings.
