Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Maintenance/Construction Coordinator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a solid background in maintenance or construction management who is ready to handle the coordination of various tasks, timelines, and teams to ensure the smooth operation of our construction projects and maintenance needs.
The Maintenance/Construction Coordinator will work closely with the project managers, contractors, and in-house maintenance teams to plan, execute, and oversee maintenance tasks, repairs, and construction-related activities. Strong communication, scheduling, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate daily maintenance and construction activities, including scheduling, procurement, and resource management.
Monitor the progress of ongoing construction or repair projects to ensure they adhere to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Manage vendor relationships, obtain bids, and ensure proper documentation for all contracts and agreements.
Oversee the maintenance and repair of facilities, equipment, and infrastructure, ensuring they are in optimal condition.
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and reports.
Supervise and provide support to maintenance and construction teams, ensuring proper safety protocols and work standards are followed.
Communicate regularly with stakeholders, including team members, contractors, and upper management, to provide updates and resolve issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to equipment, materials, or contractors.
Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
Proven experience in construction, maintenance, or a related field (minimum of 3-5 years).
Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and construction practices.
Experience coordinating and managing construction or maintenance projects from start to finish.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to solve problems efficiently and effectively under pressure.
Knowledge of safety regulations and standards in construction or facility maintenance.
