Job Summary:
We are looking to hire a Business Development Officer for our Retail Banking team in UBL Bahrain. This role offers an exciting opportunity to identify new business opportunities, attract new customers, and sell banking services with a primary focus on deposit mobilization.
Job Responsibilities:
Play a key role in driving growth by increasing deposits through effective client engagement and sales strategies.
Proactively explore and develop new business avenues to expand the bank’s customer base and market presence.
Build relationships with prospective clients and promote our full range of banking products and services tailored to their needs.
Provide exceptional service by addressing basic customer concerns, ensuring a seamless banking experience, and escalating complex matters when necessary.
Manage customer issues and escalate matters as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Master’s preferred.
Minimum 2 years of banking experience especially in generating new clients through deposit mobilization.
Experience in the Bahrain market is a must.
Proven communication and customer service skills.
Ability to establish long-term relationships and enhance customer loyalty
Strong expertise in new business development and identifying market opportunities
