Job Description

We have a new andexcitingopportunity for aBusiness Development Manager – Waterto join the team. The role will be based in Saudi Arabia and will be responsible for increasing the market share and net revenue of our business with our unique geo-data solution.

The incumbent will be responsible for growing a pipeline of project leads and opportunities in a strategic manner, developing and maintaining an effective relationship with key stakeholders, and positioning Fugro best to develop strategic projects.

The position will work closely with the team in Saudi, reporting on progress on a weekly basis. However, the ability to work independently is crucial in this role, with self-motivated performance key to success. Success in this role will lead to increasing profitable revenue growth for Fugro.

Key Responsibilities:

Developing the commercial relationship with one or more key account organizations.

Meetingsales targetswith said key account(s).

Developing access to upper management of client organization.

Coordinating with global key account management initiatives where applicable.

Identifying new business opportunities and partnerships.

Developing and maintaining relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Conducting market research to understand industry trends and customer needs.

Staying updated on industry developments and the competitive landscape.

Job Responsibilities:

Building and nurturing strong relationships with key clients to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction.

Developing and implementing strategic plans to achievesales targetsand business objectives.

Conducting negotiations for contracts, pricing, and terms to maximize value for both the company and the client.

Effectively communicating with internal teams to coordinate efforts and deliver on client expectations.

Addressing and resolving client concerns or issues promptly, maintaining a high level ofcustomer satisfaction.

Analyzing market trends and client data to provide accurate sales forecasts and contribute to business planning.

Collaborating with sales, marketing, and other departments to ensure alignment with overall company goals.

Identifying opportunities for account growth andupselling, driving revenue expansion.

Providing regular reports on key account metrics, performance, and progress toward goals.

Qualifications / Skills / Experience

Required:

Minimum

B.Sc. or M.Sc. Level in Engineering or Business Administration.

Minimum of 8 years’ experience in business development,client relationshipmanagement, or a similar role, preferably in a related industry.

Fluent in written and spoken English;
Arabic-speaking candidates will be preferred.

Existing network in Saudi Arabia is highly desirable.

Strong personality, goal-minded, and proactive approach toteamworkand relationship development.

Demonstrable ability to exceed targets and work efficiently under tight deadlines.

Ability to work independently to develop the business delivery role, increasing the customer base and assisting the department to grow with the company goals.

Ability to work successfully with clients and peers from various cultural backgrounds.

Competent ICT user including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.

Minimum 3-5 years ofproject managementexperience.

Previous experience as Key Account Manager with NEOM and RSG is preferred.
