About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive new client acquisition and revenue growth within the manpower supply and staffing industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of selling recruitment/staffing solutions across both Technology and Non-Technology sectors, with strong existing relationships and market knowledge within the UAE, particularly AbuDhabi.
This role is critical to expanding our client base, identifying new business opportunities, and building long-term partnerships with organizations requiring contract staffing, permanent placement, and workforce outsourcing solutions.
Experience
- Minimum 8–10 years of Business Development / Sales experience specifically within the manpower supply, staffing, or recruitment agency industry
- Proven experience selling staffing solutions across both Technology and Non-Technology sectors (e.g., IT/Tech alongside Construction, Oil & Gas, Facilities Management, Healthcare, Industrial, etc.)
- Demonstrated track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets and acquiring new corporate clients
- Existing network of client contacts within AbuDhabi/UAE strongly preferred
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of manpower supply models: contract staffing, permanent placement, outsourcing, payroll/PRO services
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and closing skills
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management abilities
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable working independently to generate business
- Strong communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
- Identify, target, and acquire new clients across Tech and Non-Tech industries requiring manpower supply, staffing, and recruitment services
- Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to achieve revenue and growth targets
- Build a strong sales pipeline through cold calling, networking, referrals, and market research
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and commercial pitches to prospective clients
- Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, and service agreements with clients
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with HR heads, Talent Acquisition leaders, Procurement teams, and key decision-makers
- Act as the primary point of contact for client accounts, ensuring high satisfaction and repeat business
- Understand client workforce requirements and align staffing solutions accordingly (contract staffing, permanent hiring, outsourcing, payroll management)
Market Intelligence & Strategy
- Stay updated on UAE labor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments across Tech and Non-Tech sectors
- Identify new market segments and business opportunities within AbuDhabi and the wider UAE
- Provide market feedback and insights to leadership to shape service offerings and pricing strategy
Coordination & Reporting
- Collaborate closely with the recruitment/delivery team to ensure smooth handover of client requirements and timely fulfillment
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status in CRM (Zoho or similar)
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates for management
