Role Overview
We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager (ITAD) to drive growth in IT Asset Disposition, secure data destruction, and IT asset recovery services. The role focuses on acquiring enterprise clients, building strategic partnerships, and expanding market presence across the UAE and global markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in ITAD, data destruction, and e-waste recycling
- Build and manage relationships with:
- Data centers
- Banks & financial institutions
- Government entities
- Telecom companies
- Large enterprises
- Promote services including:
- IT Asset Disposition (ITAD)
- Secure data destruction (onsite/offsite)
- Hard drive shredding
- IT asset recovery and remarketing
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
- Manage the full sales cycle:
- Lead generation
- Client meetings
- Proposal development
- Negotiation & closing
- Coordinate with operations for project execution and service delivery
- Stay updated on industry trends, compliance requirements, and competitor activities
- Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking forums
Key Requirements
- 3–7+ years of experience in:
- ITAD / e-waste recycling
- IT hardware resale
- Data destruction services
- IT infrastructure sales
- Strong network within:
- UAE corporate sector
- Data centers / IT departments
- Proven track record in B2B sales and revenue generation
- Understanding of:
- IT equipment lifecycle
- Data security & compliance (NIST, R2, GDPR)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with ITAD providers or recycling companies
- Knowledge of R2v3 certification standards
- Familiarity with enterprise IT equipment:
- Servers
- Storage
- Networking devices
KPIs / Performance Metrics
- Monthly / quarterly revenue targets
- Number of new enterprise clients acquired
- Pipeline value and conversion rate
- Client retention and repeat business
