Position: Business Development Manager – Freight Forwarding / Project Cargo
Are you a driven and dynamic sales professional with deep knowledge of project cargo and the Saudi logistics landscape? We’re hiring a Business Development Manager for a leading international shipping and logistics company.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team and take ownership of end-to-end business development across breakbulk, RORO, and ODC services.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive business growth through new client acquisition and relationship management.
Independently manage full-cycle project cargo operations (ODC, RORO, Breakbulk).
Collaborate with internal teams on pre-sales, technical studies, and project execution.
Visit clients, vendors, and transporters regularly across Saudi Arabia.
Monitor and deliver on KPIs, ensuring a minimum of 4x salary in sales targets.
Offer value-added logistics solutions and door-to-door services.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting.
Requirements:
3-5 years of experience in freight forwarding, project cargo, or NVOCC sales in Saudi Arabia.
Strong exposure to RORO, breakbulk, and ODC cargo movement.
Familiarity with local freight forwarders, transporters, and vendors.
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
Valid Saudi driving license.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and multitasking skills.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
