Job Overview:

The Business Development Manager (FMCG) is responsible for identifying, developing, and nurturing new business opportunities within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods sector to drive revenue growth for Starlinks. This role involves conducting market research, generating leads, fostering client relationships, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions. The position plays a key role in expanding the company’s footprint in the FMCG market, supporting strategic initiatives, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Main Job Responsibilities:

Business Development & Market Expansion:

Identify and research potential clients, markets, and FMCG industry sectors for business growth.

Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads and prospects through various channels, including direct outreach, referrals, and networking.

Conduct market analysis and gather competitive intelligence to inform and adjust business development strategies.

Client Relationship Management:

Build and sustain strong relationships with FMCG clients, partners, and key stakeholders to drive business growth.

Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized proposals and solutions that meet client needs and objectives.

Prepare and deliver compelling business proposals, presentations, and pitches to prospective clients.

Negotiate terms, pricing, and contractual agreements with clients to secure profitable business opportunities.

Track, manage, and report on sales activities, pipeline progress, and key performance metrics regularly.

Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and business insights to senior management.

Coordinate with operations and supply chain teams to ensure seamless project delivery and client satisfaction.

Assist in developing and executing marketing and promotional campaigns to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.

Stay informed on FMCG industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging opportunities to identify new growth areas.

Represent Starlinks at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to expand networks and generate new business.

Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of business development processes, tools, and methodologies.

Uphold the company’s values, brand image, and reputation in all external engagements.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field.

Minimum 7 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within the FMCG sector.

Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.

Strong understanding of FMCG market dynamics, supply chain processes, and customer requirements.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
