BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CUM HR
Position Overview
The Business Development cum HR professional is responsible for driving business growth while managing key human resources functions. The role combines business development, client relationship management, recruitment, employee coordination, performance management, and HR administration to support the company’s overall growth and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities and potential clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Conduct market research to identify new markets, business opportunities, and industry trends.
- Prepare and present business proposals, quotations, and partnership offers.
- Negotiate commercial terms and close business deals.
- Develop strategic partnerships with companies, suppliers, and service providers.
- Follow up on leads, inquiries, quotations, and client requirements.
- Monitor sales activities, conversion rates, and business development KPIs.
- Develop strategies to increase revenue, customer acquisition, and market presence.
- Coordinate with operations and management to ensure successful delivery of services to clients.
- Prepare regular business development reports for management.
2. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Identify staffing requirements in coordination with management and department heads.
- Prepare and post job vacancies through appropriate recruitment channels.
- Screen CVs and shortlist suitable candidates.
- Conduct initial interviews and coordinate final interviews with management.
- Coordinate recruitment documentation, offers, and onboarding.
- Maintain an organized database of candidates and employees.
- Coordinate employee mobilization, joining formalities, and orientation.
3. Employee & HR Administration
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
- Monitor attendance, leave, overtime, and employee movements.
- Coordinate employee contracts, renewals, and HR documentation.
- Assist in payroll preparation by providing accurate attendance and employee-related information.
- Ensure HR records and procedures comply with company policies and applicable labor requirements.
- Handle employee inquiries and HR-related concerns professionally.
- Coordinate disciplinary actions, warnings, and employee documentation when required.
- Support employee engagement and retention initiatives.
4. Performance Management
- Establish and monitor employee performance KPIs in coordination with management.
- Track employee productivity and performance.
- Assist managers in conducting performance evaluations.
- Identify training and development requirements.
- Recommend corrective actions and improvement plans where necessary.
- Prepare periodic HR and performance reports for management.
5. Employee Relations
- Maintain positive working relationships between management and employees.
- Handle employee complaints and workplace concerns professionally.
- Support conflict resolution and disciplinary procedures.
- Communicate company policies, procedures, and management instructions to employees.
- Promote a professional, productive, and respectful working environment.
6. Reporting & Management Support
- Prepare monthly reports covering business development and HR activities.
- Track recruitment, employee turnover, attendance, productivity, and other relevant KPIs.
- Provide management with business and HR analysis to support decision-making.
- Assist management in developing and implementing company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in Business Development and HR is preferred.
- Experience in recruitment, employee management, sales, client relations, and business development is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Qatar labor practices and HR procedures is an advantage for positions based in Qatar.
