This full-time, on-site Business Development Manager – Audio Visual role is based in UAE. The Business Development Manager will identify and develop new business opportunities, build and manage relationships with integrators, consultants, and key end-users, and expand Sonic Electronics’ presence in the local and regional AV market. Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting and qualifying leads, conducting client meetings and presentations, preparing proposals and coordinating with internal technical and sales teams to deliver tailored solutions. The role involves monitoring market trends and competitors, participating in industry events and product demonstrations, and providing accurate sales forecasts and reports. The Business Development Manager will ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by following up on projects, supporting after-sales activities, and maintaining long-term partnerships.
Qualifications
- Strong business development and sales skills, including lead generation, pipeline management, and negotiation.
- Solid understanding of audio visual and control solutions, with the ability to translate technical features into client value.
- Customer relationship management skills, including stakeholder engagement, account management, and consultative selling.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to deliver clear proposals, product demos, and reports.
- Organizational and project coordination abilities, including time management, prioritization, and follow-through on opportunities.
- Experience in the professional AV or technology distribution sector, preferably within the Middle East or similar markets.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and common office software; comfort working with data to track performance and forecast sales.
- Fluency in English required; Arabic language skills are an advantage
