The ideal candidate will manage business development activities aimed at attracting licensees to Media City and pursuing commercial opportunities. This involves liaising with prospective licensees, presenting MCQ’s offerings and advantages, compiling value propositions and incentive packages, and supporting negotiations and contract signings.
Responsibilities:
Manage identification and prioritization of potential licensees in alignment with MCQ’s strategic goals and yearly plans.
Develop actionable plans to attract target licensees, defining the necessary tools and instruments for effective execution.
Develop tailored attraction packages and incentive plans for potential licensees, in line with the incentive policy.
Follow up on expressions of interest from potential licensees through appropriate communication channels.
Conduct initial high-level assessments of potential licensees, with detailed due diligence to be performed by dedicated MCQ team.
Negotiate with potential licensees to optimize economic impact and achieve MCQ’s commercial and strategic objectives.
Serve as the main point of contact for potential licensees until they are onboarded, before transitioning the respective Relationship Manager.
Collaborate with the Marketing team to create and review promotional materials aimed at engaging potential licensees and commercial partners.
Support the marketing team during promotional events and activities, including participating in local and international events and tradeshows.
Collaborate with the Director of Business Development in developing annual plans and targets for the department.
Manage the fulfilment of agreements made with new licensees and partners, ensuring all commitments are met.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or similar discipline from a reputable university.
Minimum Experience:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in similar roles in large companies, of which at least 4 years are in positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities, demonstrating a strong need for effective leadership skills.
