About the Opportunity
A leading international membership organization focused on digital assets, fintech, and financial regulation is expanding its presence across the MENA region. The organization works closely with digital asset businesses, financial institutions, and policymakers to support the development of balanced regulatory frameworks and industry best practices. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the growth of the organization’s regional presence while developing expertise in business development, public policy, and financial regulation.
Key Responsibilities Business Development (70%)
• Build and manage a pipeline of prospective members and strategic partners across Saudi Arabia and the GCC.
• Identify and engage digital asset companies, fintechs, financial institutions, law firms, consultancies, and other ecosystem participants.
• Conduct outreach, arrange meetings, prepare proposals, and manage the full membership sales cycle through onboarding.
• Represent the organization at conferences, networking events, and industry forums throughout the region.
• Develop relationships with accelerators, industry associations, government initiatives, and strategic partners.
• Maintain CRM records, monitor sales pipeline performance, and contribute to regional growth strategies.
• Support member onboarding and retention by ensuring a positive client experience.
Regulatory Research & Policy (30%)
• Monitor regulatory and policy developments affecting digital assets and financial services across Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC.
• Track updates from regional financial regulators and government initiatives related to fintech and digital innovation.
• Produce concise regulatory briefings, market updates, and policy summaries for members.
• Support responses to regulatory consultations and engagement with policymakers.
• Contribute regional insights to broader research and thought leadership initiatives.
Candidate Profile
• 1–3 years’ experience in business development, sales, consulting, policy, legal, financial services, fintech, or a related field.
• Fluent in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
• Based in, or willing to relocate to, Saudi Arabia, with flexibility for regional travel.
• Strong commercial mindset with excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable engaging senior executives and public sector stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to interpret regulatory information and communicate it clearly.
• Demonstrated interest in digital assets, fintech, financial regulation, or emerging technologies.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently within an international team.
Preferred Qualifications
• Existing network within the Saudi or GCC fintech, banking, legal, consulting, or government sectors.
• Experience with trade associations, regulatory bodies, law firms, consultancies, or digital asset organizations.
• Familiarity with regional fintech initiatives, licensing frameworks, or regulatory sandboxes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Economics, Political Science, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
