Business Development Manager
What can you expect?
As a Business Development Manager, you will manage all aspects of prospect development from pre-sale through close. Furthermore, you will identify and actively pursue potential new business opportunities.
Lead the coordination of organizational resources necessary to drive a sale to completion
Identify potential referral sources and develop relationships through personal contact and presentation of the practice’s resources
Generate additional revenue opportunities by introducing and leveraging other Marsh products and services as appropriate
We will count on you to:
As a Business Development Manager, you will identify external and internal referral sources and partner closely with those sources. In addition, you will lead the creation of sales proposals and presentations and work with the referral source partner to coordinate the delivery of these presentations to prospects.
Transition a qualified prospect or new client to a client executive and support the client executive in the implementation of new business deals and transitions the client to account management status
Utilize information sources internally and externally to gather appropriate data to position Marsh to prospect properly
Ensure thatup-to-dateprospective client information is maintained in the database
What you need to have:
Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field
Excellentcommunication(oral and written) and presentation skills
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Business Development Manager
Experience in insurance sales, consulting firms, or financial institutions is preferable
Effective English written and verbalcommunication skillsto communicate with colleagues and clients
