Support to develop and administer field sales plans and processes to achieve revenue growth, enhancecustomer retentionand acquisition, and increase lead conversion for a defined geographic region, product line or market segment in line with business strategy, financial objectives, Group guidelines and policies.

In this Business Development Manager position:
Develops sales within new and existing portfolio.
Plan/strategy/activities to achieve target budgets.
Responsible for conducting high quality presentation of the entire range of standardized products to customers.
Develops target lists of new business and continuously reviews and updates.
Establishes and presents customized offers to customers.
Negotiates with customers on contractual terms of service provision that is aligned to corporate sales policy and procedures.
Adheres to approved credit limits granted to customers and enforces previously agreed payment terms.
Develops and maintains strong new and existing customer relations and loyalty through ensuringcustomer satisfaction.
Responds to customer enquiries/complaints.
Manages and sells within a defined portfolio of existing customers and wins lasting business relationships with DGF.
Responsible for establishing customer profiles and customer needs.
Ensures existingcustomer retention& continued patronage.
Acquires additional and renewal business.
Maximizes revenue potential of existing account portfolio.
Ensures timely & amicable settlement of customer issues.
Now, here’s what we need from you:
Outstandingcommunicationand negotiation skills and the ability to focus on outcomes.
Proven ability to build and manage relationships.
Champion for development of successful sales engagement.
Ensure a sound understanding of, show knowledge of and be strongly conversant in our industry workings.
Minimum 3-5 years within the transport, logistics or freight forwarding industry (or similar service industry).
Experience in sales environment with proven record advantageous.
